It will not be obligatory to use the Version 2.0 XSD from 1 st April 2020
Taking into consideration the special circumstances caused by the Coronavirus pandemia and in line with governmental measures and proposals to slow the spread of the pandemic, the National Tax and Customs Administration will not cease to support Version 1.1 XSD of the Online Invoicing System as of 1 st April 2020 and will not make the use of Version 2.0 XSD obligatory. With this, continuous data provision can be assured by every taxpayer without any technical operation requiring personal presence related to the transition.
However, it is important to note that 2.0 XSD can already be used live in parallel with Version 1.1 XSD, thus conditions for the change are already provided on the Online Invoice webpage. Thus, the Tax Authority asks taxpayers to continue preparing for using the new XSD Version – considering the possibilities available in the Coronavirus situation and maintaining safe working conditions – and if possible, carry out the transition as soon as possible.
The final deadline for phasing out Version 1.1 and converting into Version 2.0 XDS will be 1st July 2020.
